Gasunie: decision on hydrogen infrastructure is milestone for energy transition

HyStock is pleased and proud that Gasunie has been asked to convert part of its natural gas transport pipelines to hydrogen transport.
Another important part of the hydrogen infrastructure is the storage of hydrogen because the supply and demand for hydrogen are not always synchronised. HyStock Hydrogen Storage is making plans to build several underground caverns in Zuidwending. If everything goes according to plan, the first hydrogen cavern will be brought into use in 2026 and connected to Gasunie's hydrogen network.
